2023-24 Edition Health Plan Report Card Released
The Center for Data Insights and Innovation (CDII) released the annual quality ratings of California’s largest HMO and PPO health plans.
The 2023-24 Edition Health Plan Report Card provides clinical quality and patient experience star ratings and measure scores on a variety of health topics, such as diabetes care, heart care, preventive screenings, and satisfaction with plan doctors and services. The new Report Card also provides a comparison of California health plan performance with national benchmarks.
The annual Health Care Quality Report Cards for health plans and medical groups transitioned to CDII from the Office of the Patient Advocate in 2021. These Report Cards are produced in partnership with the National Committee for Quality Assurance, Integrated Healthcare Association, and Purchaser Business Group on Health.
